Part 1: Research Matrix

The purpose of Part 1 in this assignment is to help you organize research articles into a spreadsheet so that you can more effectively write your research paper and organize your references.

Guidelines for completing this assignment:

  • Create a spreadsheet using the template provided (the first column clearly identifies the -AMA style)
  • Include one reference per row
  • These five column headings should appear in your matrix: AMA Citation (including doi link), Research Questions, What was measured, What methods were used, What were the main outcomes/results, Notable discussion/conclusions (ex future research, strengths/limitations of the study)
    You may add additional columns which you may find helpful. The more detail you add to your matrix, the easier it will be to write your research paper. Use quotation marks for any information directly copied from the . Adjust cell and row sizes as needed.
  • Include a minimum of 8 primary references. Do not include any review articles in this matrix.
  • Include the Topic in the top row
