BADM 3375: Negotiations and Conflict Management-The 48 Laws of Power Paper Assignment
Paper #1 –Due Week 2; Select one law from Laws 1-24
Paper #2 –Due Week 5; Select one law form Laws 25-48
Instructions:
You will complete two papers regarding a law listed in “The 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene. For the first assignment due in Week 2 you must select a law from Laws 1-24 and for the second due in Week 5 you must select a law from Laws 25-48. The 48 Laws of Power examines 48 key steps to understanding how to use and enforce your power. These fundamental “laws” are a combination of actions, thoughts and tactics that you can employ in order to “play the power game”.

Papers (2):

The two papers will focus on the laws as outlined above for each paper. Each paper should be at a minimum two to three pages (2-3pages). Each paper/analysis should give a brief synopsis of your understanding of the selected “law of power” and how you may or may not choose to use this law in your . You should also discuss if you agree with the content of this law and why or why not you agree or disagree. You may also relate your assigned law with any course content that may be applicable.
Each paper will be graded on the professionalism and thoughtfulness placed in to the paper and the quality and content of the writing. As mentioned the paper should be two to three pages at a minimum plus a cover page and bibliography. The short paper must include at least two external sources not including the “The 48 Laws of Power”. Your textbook may be used as one of the additional resources. The short paper must use APA standard format, 1”margins, 1.5 spaced, size 10-12” font.
